This project is to find a long term storage solution for fast growing research data.
After talking with experts from UBC IT and WestGrid, we identified a few options:
- Lustre parallel file system
- Hadoop
- Redhat Storage server
This project is scheduled for early 2014. More research and consultation will be done to identify the solution we will use, and a prototype system may be built first for testing.
